ABOUT KB

Hi everyone! I’m Kirsten Barton —KB— a family photographer based in beautiful Northern Alabama.

Photography has been a part of my life since 2015. I began my journey back home in PA, where I grew up, and carried it with me through my years in NC, eventually bringing it here to AL in 2018. Each place has shaped my style and deepened my love for capturing real, meaningful moments.

As a photographer, I’m drawn to family and real-life imagery— the genuine smiles, soft connections, and imperfectly perfect in-between moments. I keep my editing natural and true-to-life because I believe the beauty I capture should shine on its own.

Outside of photography, I’m married to my best friend and a mom of twin girls. Life with them is wonderfully busy and full of inspiration! We also share our home with two golden doodles who keep things fun and fluffy. When I’m not behind the camera or chasing after my kids (human or furry!), you’ll probably find me curled up with a good book, or listening to one while I clean. (Mom life, IYKYK)
